Since I first discovered subscription boxes, beauty boxes have been one of my favorites to receive. Today we’re writing our first “Closer Look” review about the Beauty Box 5 monthly subscription beauty box.
This was our first month getting the Beauty Box 5 monthly subscription beauty box. The Beauty Box 5 monthly subscription box is a durable cardboard, teal box. This month’s box was about the size of a postcard in length and width and about two inches tall.

The Beauty Box 5 box had 5 different beauty products inside.
1. Smith’s Rosebud Salve – Full Size, 0.8 oz. tin, Estimated Value: $6.00
I think this is my favorite item in the box (along with the foot buffer). Smith’s Rosebud Salve can be used for anything from chapped lips to diaper rash to softening rough hands. It has a wonderful, light rose scent to it and is made with essential oils and cottonseed oil in a “special” petrolatum base.
2. BRAZEN Mineral Eye Shadow in Don’t Stop! – Sample Size, Estimated Value: $3.37
BRAZEN Mineral Eye Shadow is a loose powder shadow. It’s advertised as being long lasting and made with beneficial ingredients .
3. Spongeables 4-in-1 Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer in Lavendar-Tea Tree Oil Aromatherapy – 1 oz. buffer, Estimated Value: $3:49
This is perfect for at-home pedicures and spa treatments for your feet. The 1oz. buffer provides 5+ washes that wash and scrub your feet of dry skin, then moisturize and provide relaxation thanks to the blend of glycerin, olive oil, shea butter, tea tree extract, and lavender aromatherapy.
4. Blinc Mascara in Black – 0.02 oz. sample size, Estimated Value: $2.10
This was a 0.02oz. sample size of Blinc Mascara. Blinc mascara is designed to add volume and length to your eye lashes by forming tiny water-resistant” tubes” around your lashes. It’s not supposed to smudge, run, or give you any sort of “raccoon” eyes.
5. La Fresh Travel Wipes Nail Polish Remover – 2 pads, Estimated Value: $1.33
The La Fresh Nail Polish Remover pads are a great way to remove nail polish while travelling or on the go. The pads we received have acetone for removal (they also have acetone-free pads) and aloe vera to moisturize your nails.
Beauty Box 5 Monthly Subscription Box Wrap-Up
This month’s Beauty Box 5 box had a great variety of products. We loved the full-sized Smith’s Rosebud Salve. In all, the contents of the box have an estimated value of $16.29.
