Factor is the prepared-meal service for people who are done with meal kits. Nothing to chop, no recipe cards: dietitian-designed meals arrive fully cooked and refrigerated, and most are ready after about two minutes in the microwave. Factor is owned by HelloFresh and delivers across the 48 contiguous states.

What’s on the Factor menu?

Each week you choose from more than 100 meals plus a long list of add-ons like breakfasts, smoothies, and snacks. Filters cover keto, calorie-smart, high-protein, vegan and vegetarian, and other preferences. Expect protein-forward plates such as salmon, steak, and chicken with vegetables, plus bowls and comfort dishes.

  • 10 meals: $12.49 per meal
  • 12 meals: $11.99 per meal

  • 18 meals: $10.99 per meal, about $197.82

Is Factor worth it, and is it healthy?

For busy people who would otherwise order takeout, yes: it is cheaper than delivery apps and far more balanced. Meals are portioned and come with full nutrition info, which makes them a solid fit for anyone tracking macros. Big eaters may find portions small, and the cost is hard to justify if you enjoy cooking.

Pros: no prep at all, huge rotating menu, good diet filters, easy skipping.
Cons: expensive per meal, shipping fee every week, lots of packaging.

Can you freeze Factor meals? Factor meals are designed for the fridge and keep for several days, but many members freeze them for later. Texture can suffer for some dishes.
