FairyLoot has revealed its first two December 2026 themes: Starcrossed Secrets for Young Adult, with a candle confirmed in the full box, and Forged Anew for Romantasy, an enemies-to-lovers story about a contest for divine power. US prices start at $25.90 a month, but new subscription spots are currently closed, so the waitlist is the way in (as of November 4, 2026).
FairyLoot Young Adult December 2026: Starcrossed Secrets
FairyLoot posted the Young Adult theme on November 2, 2026. Starcrossed Secrets explores “a new world, hidden identities and a kingdom needing to be saved.” The book of the month follows a girl thrust into a world on the brink of destruction: as family secrets spill out, she must choose between becoming a savior or surrendering to the monsters at the world’s edges.
- Items inspired by: Unearthly, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, Caraval and the book of the month
- Confirmed item: a candle
- Art overlays for the featured book, by the artist livish.art
- Exclusive edition: redesigned cover with foil, reversible dust jacket, full color hardcover art, foiled endpapers (different front and back), digitally sprayed edge with solid sprayed top and bottom
- Extras: bonus content and an author letter with a digital signature bound into the book
The same exclusive edition goes into the Young Adult Book-Only box, without the items. Source: FairyLoot.

What About the Adult Box?
FairyLoot has not posted its December Adult theme yet. In November, the Adult reveal came two days after the Young Adult one, so it should follow shortly. We’ll add it here once it’s live.
Our Take
Starcrossed Secrets reads like a classic YA portal fantasy, and a candle is a reliable crowd-pleaser in a December box. Forged Anew checks every current romantasy box: trials, vengeance, enemies to lovers. As always with FairyLoot, the book titles stay secret until shipping, so you’re buying the theme and the edition, not a known book. The bigger hurdle is access: spots are closed, so join the waitlist now if you want a December box.
