PupBox is a monthly subscription box for puppies and young dogs. Each box has 5 to 7 items, usually toys, treats, chews, accessories and training material, and the contents change as your dog grows.
When you sign up you choose a life stage and a size, so a 10 week old toy breed and a 6 month old lab get different chews and toys. PupBox is part of the FabFitFun group and ships within the US.

Stages and sizes
PupBox has three life stages: Puppy for dogs up to 6 months, Young Pup for 7 to 18 months and Grown Pup for 19 months and up. Sizes run from Itty Bitty (1 to 10 lbs) to Small ish (10 to 30 lbs), Mid Size (30 to 50 lbs) and Large and In Charge (50 lbs and up).
Training guides are written with professional trainer Andrea Arden, and early boxes focus on teething, potty training and socialization.

What’s in a typical PupBox
- 2 to 3 toys sized for your dog
- Treats and chews free of wheat, corn and soy, with no rawhide
- An accessory such as a bandana, bowl or grooming tool
- A training guide matched to your puppy’s age
If your pup does not like a toy, PupBox says it will replace it.

Skipping and canceling
You can skip a month or move to an every other month schedule by contacting customer care. You can cancel in your account, but on 3, 6 and 12 month plans you still receive and pay for the remaining boxes in your term, which is the most common complaint in online reviews. Pick the monthly plan if you are not sure.

Is PupBox worth it?
Yes for new puppy parents who want help with training and teething, especially on the monthly plan for the first few months. Once your dog is grown and mostly wants to destroy toys, a box like BarkBox or Bullymake is a better long term fit.

- Training tips from a professional trainer
- No rawhide and grain free treats
