JCPenney Black Friday 2026: Dates, Hours and Deals

JCPenney has published its full holiday sale calendar, and Black Friday pricing will run for 10 days, from November 20 to 29, 2026. Before that, the retailer says 97% of in-store merchandise is on sale during its Biggest Sale of the Season, November 5 to 11, with a free Golden Tote on purchases of $25 or more.

JCPenney Black Friday 2026: Every Date

In a November 2, 2026 release, JCPenney laid out what to buy and when. Here is the full schedule:

November 5 to 11: Biggest Sale of the Season, 97% of in-store merchandise on sale, Golden Tote with any $25+ purchase
November 6 to 9, November 13 to 15 and December 11 to 13: Really Big Deals, the steepest discounts on select seasonal items, one weekend only each, in stores and online
November 12 to December 25: thousands of deals at $20 or less
November 16 to 19: Holiday Daily Deals by theme
November 20 to 29: Black Friday Deals, 10 days of Black Friday prices
November 27: “5, 9, 1, 5” surprise giveaways in stores at 5 a.m., 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
December 1 to 25: Price Lock on seasonal must-haves

Store Hours and a Free Harry Potter Snow Globe

JCPenney stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will open at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday. A select number of shoppers who enter at opening will get a free mini JCPenney Hogwarts Express snow globe, part of the retailer’s Harry Potter partnership with Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products. Rewards: $10 Back Up to Four Times

JCPenney Rewards Access members earn $10 back for every $50 spent, up to four times, usable at JCPenney or Aéropostale. Spend $200 across the season and that’s $40 back, a 20% return (our math). Source: JCPenney.

A 10-day Black Friday window is generous, and the schedule is clear enough to plan around. For beauty gift sets, which JCPenney says span more than 250 brands, the $20-or-less deals starting November 12 are the window to watch.
