Black Friday is November 27, 2026, but several subscription boxes are not waiting. As of October 29, FabFitFun, Dollar Shave Club, OwlCrate and Universal Yums already run early offers, from a $1.99 razor set to a free bonus box FabFitFun values at $250. Here is what is live, with the dates and conditions each brand gives.
1. FabFitFun: a Free Bonus Box With an Annual Membership
FabFitFun’s homepage advertises a “$250 FREE Bonus Box” when you join with an Annual membership, as a limited-time offer with no end date given (checked October 29, 2026). The Annual plan was listed at $64.99 a box, billed $259.96 a year, when we checked on October 21, 2026. Timing matters too: Winter 2026 customization opens for seasonal members on October 29 and closes November 10, according to FabFitFun.
Details on the current box in our FabFitFun Winter 2026 reveal and on our FabFitFun review page.
2. Dollar Shave Club: Starter Sets From $1.99
Dollar Shave Club’s early Black Friday sale runs October 21 to November 1, 2026. The No Frills Starter Set is $2.49 instead of $12, the Trusty Starter Set is $1.99 instead of $14, and the Classic Year of Smooth prepaid plan is $41.99 instead of $102. The deals are for new subscribers, on the first subscription order, with an email signup. Full list in our Dollar Shave Club early Black Friday article.
3. OwlCrate: Morally Gray Friday, Then a $10 Book Sale
OwlCrate’s Morally Gray Friday runs October 30 to November 2, 2026, with $15 Mystery Book & Goodies Boxes, $20 Mystery Goodies Boxes, 25% and 50% off goodies, and 200 bonus points on orders of $75 or more. A $10 Book Sale follows from November 27 to 30. Details in our OwlCrate Morally Gray Friday article.
4. Universal Yums: an Advent Calendar Free or Up to 60% Off
Universal Yums promotes its Around the World Advent Calendar (96 global treats) with this offer: “Get our Advent Calendar FREE or up to 60% off with any plan!” The site says you can save up to 60% on the calendar or get it free “with select adventures”; it does not say which plan gives which discount, so check at checkout (October 29, 2026). The calendar was listed at $34.99 on its own when we checked on October 13, 2026. More in our Universal Yums advent calendars article and on our Universal Yums review page.
Our Take
The biggest value on paper is FabFitFun’s bonus box, but it requires a full year of membership. The lowest-risk deal is Dollar Shave Club’s $1.99 to $2.49 starter sets, as long as you watch the refill schedule. Book lovers should note both OwlCrate weekends now, since the mystery boxes are limited to one per person.
Best for: anyone planning to start a subscription before the holidays. Skip it if: you are an existing member, since most of these offers target new subscribers.
