Target has set its 2026 holiday deal calendar: a new Deal of the Day every day from November 1 to December 24, which is 54 days in a row, and Early Black Friday deals from November 5 to 7. For the first time, Target will also run a one-day preview of upcoming offers so shoppers can plan ahead.

Target says it has more than 8,000 new gifts this season, with more than half exclusive to Target. Most new holiday items cost $20 or less, including thousands at $5 and under. Price points Target is highlighting:

- Pajamas for the whole family from $10
- Festive decor from $5
- Faux fur throws at $30
- Top toys from LEGO, Barbie and Nintendo, plus new and exclusive beauty gifts at Target Beauty Studio
New: Ask Target, an AI Shopping Assistant
Target is testing Ask Target, an AI-powered shopping assistant in beta on Target.com and the Target app, to help shoppers find gift ideas and narrow their choices. A new holiday campaign, Academy of Giftology, launches in November. Through its partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Target also sells the Gigglescape St. Jude bear, with a donation tied to each purchase.
CEO Michael Fiddelke said guests will “see and feel the changes” Target has been making, while chief merchandising officer Cara Sylvester said shoppers want thoughtful gifts while “feeling good about what they’re spending.”

That favors shoppers who check in daily: the Deal of the Day runs for 54 days, and the November 5 to 7 window lands a week before Walmart’s first event. If you want one big haul, wait for the Black Friday weekend instead.
