February 2017 Kidstir Review - Box

This is our third month with Kidstir and so far we are enjoying it. Kidstir is a great cooking subscription box for kids, especially for younger children. Our last review was for January and now this is our newest box for February.

Kidstir is a subscription box that allows kids to cook simple recipes with their parents’ help. Not only do kids get to make their own food but they will also learn about healthy foods while having fun.

February 2017 Kidstir Review Box Contents

Every Kidstir subscribe box includes shopping lists, step by step instructions for cooking, fun food pages to complete, kid sized tools and sometimes a few ingredients too. Note that, for the most part, ingredients are not included in the box. If you don’t have the ingredients on hand, then you and your child can have fun shopping for the dish ingredients together. Each box is more for the experience of learning to cook with your kids using kid friendly recipes.

With the Kidstir subscription, your child will get to build their own cookbook from the recipe pages included in each box. Each month you’ll receive 3 recipes to cook. Boxes also have kid-friendly kitchen utensils and fun pages to do together.

Inside the February 2017 Kidstir Box

Inside our February 2017 Kidstir box, we received 3 recipe cards, measuring spoons, an onion peeler, fun pages and  conversation starters. The recipes for this month were Fancy French Chicken, Roasted Vegetables and Chocolate Lava Cake all made from scratch. I do like the fact that the recipes are made from complete scratch so kids can make healthy and tasty food without artificial ingredients in it.

Yet again, Kidstir has been was a fun kitchen adventure for us. It’s exciting to see what recipes you’ll make each month. It’s also wonderful to teach kids how to cook at a young age. Currently Kidstir comes in 1, 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions for $19.95 a month.
