As a man, clothes shopping is not a priority in my life. I do, however, enjoy wearing comfortable and fashionable clothes. The Mr. Collection saves me the hassle of running to the store to get my new clothes. A benefit that my wife finds as the best part of this box is the ability to just ship back the clothes after I am done wearing them. This is not your typical clothing subscription but rather a rental collection, with the chance to buy the clothes you cannot live without. With this collection, you can choose from a variety of options. You can choose any of the following:
Standard Once a Month: 3 clothing items once a month for $59.99
Premium Once a Month: 4 clothing items once a month for $69.99
Standard Unlimited: 3 clothing items unlimited times a month for $79.99
Premium Unlimited: 4 clothing items unlimited times a month for $89.99
My first shipment was this October, and that I now share with all of you.
They curated and shipped off my box quite fast. They even took the time to contact me and ask questions about styling choices they wanted to make. I was quite happy to learn that my box was delivered a day ahead of schedule. It was just the right size to fit the clothes so they came perfectly packed.
I found a note included in my box that I found quite beneficial. It explained the styling choices and color choices made in this box. While it may not feel like fall where I live, however, the fall choices are very fitting. They also took into consideration that I may want the ability to mix up my wardrobe to provide the maximum number of outfit choices.
They give a detailed list of items and prices as well as the discounted price in case you choose to buy an item that came in that box. Discounts can be up to 50% depending on the item. This makes it easier to keep track of what you may end up spending rather than just aimlessly diving in.
The first item in my box was this Ben Sherman button down. It can be purchased for $68.00 rather than the retail $85.00. The pattern is definitely different from anything I have in my closet. The fit was impeccable and to touch it felt soft and cottony. It even had a pleated feature on the back. I think the best feature with this shirt is the length. Some dress shirts fall at an awkward length but this one falls perfectly.
Next up was this WRK short sleeved shirt. Once again I loved the softness as I pulled this one on. The pattern while unique is very subtle. the color really suited me. Even though it retails at $65.00 members can purchase it for only $45.50. This would fit nicely in my wardrobe.
This Alternative Apparel button down round off the tops in my box. It is a lightweight denim top that once again fit perfectly. The sleeves are suitable for either long sleeve or rolled up short sleeves which is wonderful for unpredictable weather. The shirt retails at $88.00 but members can pick it up for $66.00 which is a steal.
These Mavi pants were easily my favorite item in the box. They can be purchased for $51.00 and they retail for $60.00. They fall at my knees and the color goes with just about anything. The pants fit perfectly and fall just right. They have pockets in both the front and the back and feel like luxury pants. I was very tempted to keep these.
These were the most comfortable clothes I have ever worn, but they still pushed me out of my usual comfort zone. I highly recommend The Mr. Collection.
