Cloth & Paper’s Intention Box, a monthly planner and stationery subscription, is going quarterly. October 2026 is the last $55 monthly box; from November 1, subscribers are billed $150 every three months for a bigger box with a promised minimum value of $300. Current subscriptions switch automatically, so the deadline to cancel or skip is October 31.
What Is Changing?
According to Cloth & Paper’s official FAQ (last updated October 16, 2026) and its subscription page, checked October 17, 2026:
- Last monthly box: October 2026, at $55
- First quarterly box: November 2026, billed November 1 at $150
- Renewals: February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1, with boxes shipping the month they are billed
- Minimum value: $300 per quarterly box, according to Cloth & Paper
- Automatic switch: all active subscriptions move to the new price and cadence with no action needed
- Shipping: still free in the US; international quarterly rates are $5.95 for Canada, $9.95 for the UK, $24.95 for Australia and $19.95 elsewhere
Cloth & Paper says the change came from subscriber feedback: products were arriving faster than people could use them. It also stresses that the quarterly box is a new format, not three monthly boxes bundled together. You still choose your planner size, and the monthly subscriber workshops, Happy Hour Live and shop releases continue.
What’s in the First Quarterly Intention Box (November 2026)?
Cloth & Paper has already shown the November box, which it values at $498 in total (the individual values it lists actually add up to $519, by our math):

Most items ship in the sizes shown for everyone; only the Yearly Essentials insert and the Torn Strips dashboards come in your subscription size. What It Means for Subscribers
Our math: 12 monthly boxes at $55 came to $660 a year; four quarterly boxes at $150 come to $600. So the yearly bill goes down slightly, but each charge is almost three times bigger, and you get your stationery in four drops instead of twelve. The November lineup’s $498 stated value is generous, but it leans on a $130 leather folio cover in the CP Petite size, which only helps if you use that format. Note that several items are sized for A5 Spiral or CP Petite regardless of the planner size you picked.
- If you’re happy with the change: do nothing; you’ll be charged $150 on November 1.
- If you want out: cancel or skip by October 31, 2026, the last day Cloth & Paper gives before the November quarterly box.
- If you prepaid: Cloth & Paper says it will contact prepaid subscribers directly; monthly shipments scheduled after October will be canceled and renewals prorated.
- If you subscribe now: you pay $55 for the October box, then $150 per quarter from November 1 unless you cancel.
One more detail: access to the Subscriber Exclusive Collection is tied to ordering the current quarter’s box, so skipping a quarter pauses it.
Price and Subscription: The Essentials
