DailyLook is a personal styling subscription for women. You take a style quiz, a human stylist picks up to 12 pieces of clothing for you, and you keep what you like and send back the rest for free. Boxes arrive monthly, every 2 months or quarterly.

It competes head on with Stitch Fix, and its main argument is volume: most styling services send 5 items, DailyLook sends 7 to 12, which makes it much easier to build full outfits from a single box. Sizes run from 0 to 24W (XS to 3X).

How DailyLook works

You start with a style quiz covering your sizes, fit, budget, lifestyle and the pieces you never want to see. A stylist then builds your box, and before it ships you get a 24 hour preview: you can swap up to 3 items and add accessories. Once you confirm, the box ships, usually within 5 to 9 business days.

When it arrives you have 5 days to decide. Check out online for what you keep and send the rest back with the prepaid label. Miss the deadline and DailyLook treats the whole box as kept, so set a reminder. You can skip a box, change the frequency or cancel from your dashboard.

The styling fee and store credit

Every box carries a $40 styling fee. For your first box it is charged at sign up, and after that when your stylist starts working, usually 1 to 2 weeks before delivery. The fee converts into store credit that you can use on items in the box, accessories or sample sale pieces, but it expires after 30 days and is not refunded. New members often get a discount on the first styling fee.

New members usually get a discount on the first styling fee, and the built in member discounts take 50% off one item when you keep 3 or more, or two items when you keep 5 or more.

How do I cancel DailyLook?

Cancel from your account dashboard at any time. If your stylist has already started on your next box, contact Client Services, and use any remaining store credit before it expires.

For women who keep a few pieces each box, yes. The large box and the styling fee credit make it fair value. If you return most items, the fee adds up.

How long do I have to return DailyLook items?

5 days after delivery. After that, the items you did not send back are charged as kept.
