Because the discount is capped at $40, the full 60% only applies up to a first order of about $66.67 (our math: $40 divided by 0.60). Above that amount, you still save $40, but the effective discount drops. On a $100 first order, for example, $40 off is 40%, not 60%. To get the most out of the deal, build a first order close to $67.

Our Take
This is one of the strongest food subscription first-order deals of the season so far, as long as you size the first order around $67 to get the full 60%. The free lunchboxes are a nice extra for toddlers starting daycare or preschool, but stock is limited. Remember that the plan renews every two weeks after the first delivery, so set a reminder if you only want to test it.
