OwlCrate December 2026 Adult Fantasy Sold Out

OwlCrate says its December 2026 Adult Fantasy books have sold out. In an official blog update, General Manager Syl Urbanoski told subscribers the sellout is rare for the brand and that even active members may miss the book if renewals land after stock is gone.

What OwlCrate Confirmed

On the December Adult Fantasy Update page, OwlCrate states:

December Adult Fantasy books are sold out
Book orders are placed months ahead with the publisher, so the brand cannot top up stock at the last minute
There will be no separate waitlist for December extras
If any extras appear after quality checks, they go to active subscribers already next in line
Renewals still process automatically; subscriptions affected by the sellout will be adjusted after the 19th of the month

Adult Fantasy Pricing (When Spots Open)

OwlCrate’s Adult Fantasy Book Only page, checked November 7, 2026, lists waitlist-only signup with these plan prices:

Monthly: $31.99 per box + shipping
3-month prepay: $30.99 per box ($92.97 + shipping)
6-month prepay: $29.99 per box ($179.94 + shipping)

The Adult Fantasy line is a monthly exclusive hardcover subscription. OwlCrate also notes the line is about six months old and still scaling. Source: OwlCrate.

YA Box Context

Separately, OwlCrate has already announced it will end its YA Book and Goodies box after December 2026. That timeline is covered in our OwlCrate YA Book and Goodies ending article. The December Adult Fantasy sellout is a different product line and a different story: demand outran the print run for December.

Our Take

If you already renewed for December Adult Fantasy, watch your account after the 19th for any renewal-date correction. If you are on the waitlist or hoping for extras, OwlCrate is clear there is no new December waitlist. New readers should plan for later months rather than chasing December stock.
