Degustabox December 2017

Degustabox is a monthly subscription plan which contains 9-14 surprise food products with each box. The items are carefully selected from name brands, will contain new flavors, and give you a new option to think about the next time you’re looking for a break in your eating routine.

I was really excited to get this months box because I know a couple of the products that were in it, and I so really interested in trying them out.

GOOD THINS Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt Beet Crackers 

I have bought these before and I absolutely love them. The sweet earthy flavor of beets and the sour from the vinegar makes the flavor nicely balanced. I also love them because the texture reminds me of  Pringles.

MULINO BIANCO Sfilati Oven Baked Breadsticks

As these are made with olives I wasn’t thinking that I would like them, but as it turns out the olive flavor isn’t very strong and they have a nice savory herbed taste. I have been keeping these under my desk and nibbling on them in the afternoon.

MULINO BIANCO Hazelnut & Cocoa Creme Sandwich Cookies 

These cookies are really nice and dainty.  the cookie its self isn’t very sweet it’s more like a simple shortbread type cookie. The cream is also lightly sweetened, but rather rich. I discovered that these are best dunked in black coffee.

CAULIE RICE Spicy Chicken & Original 

I haven’t broken into either of these yet, but I’m really interested in trying them out. I had never heard of cauli rice before now and I have to admit to being a little unsure about it.

BARILLA Ready Pasta 

I have this for lunch the other day, I just popped them in the microwave for sixty seconds and then fixed them with butter, salt, pepper, and a little bit of cheese. I really liked these but they are a little different than normal boiled noodles, they are a little bit drier.

BARILLA Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto 

I have yet to use this product, we don’t use a lot of tomatoes in our normal food, but every couple of weeks we have pizza or pasta that requires it.  I am really interested to see how this tastes and will let you know my thoughts.

BRIANNA’S Creamy Balsamic Dressing 

We have used Brianna’s dressing before, but I never realized that it was made in one of my favorite towns in Texas. This particular dressing is quite nice but in small amounts, because it is quite tart.

SUCKERPUNCH Spicy Garlic Pickles 

I doubt that I have ever mentioned this to you before but absolutely love pickles, so I was very excited to find these in my box. I was a little concerned because these are spicy garlic and I really dislike garlic, but thankfully I didn’t taste the garlic at all. These are crisp and spicy and perfect for spicing up a sandwich.

This box also contained a hundred percent off coupon for an Ozery Bakery product so you can buy in fresh yourself. Unfortunately, none of the stores within an hour on me actually sell Ozery Bakery so it won’t be any use to me.

Overall I’m very happy with this months box, there are a couple of products that I personally am not a fan of but I know they will be used by the rest of my family.
