Our take
At $148 for 24 doors, the Free People calendar comes to about $6.17 a door (our math), in the same range as Ulta’s $150 calendar. Its personality is different, though: four fragrances (two eaux de parfum, a parfum and a fragrance oil), a Sunday Riley vitamin C serum, two sunscreens and a lot of “clean” and indie brands rather than big makeup names. It suits someone into body care and scent more than color cosmetics. The $420 is Free People’s stated value, not money you save. We haven’t tested this calendar.
