Mattel has released the Hot Wheels 2026 Advent Calendar: 24 doors hiding 34 pieces, including 10 die-cast cars in 1:64 scale and an exclusive snow globe car with a Yeti driver. Mattel’s official Canadian store lists it at CA$39.99, and it is currently showing as out of stock there.
What’s Inside the Hot Wheels 2026 Advent Calendar
- 10 Hot Wheels cars: winter-themed 1:64 scale vehicles, one behind 10 of the 24 doors.
- 1 exclusive car: a snow globe car driven by a Yeti, only found in this calendar.
- 14 accessories: holiday props such as a reindeer, a sleigh and a gingerbread house for play scenes.
- 10 ornament clips: to hang each car on the Christmas tree.
The box art shows a snowy ice cave track with Santa, a snowman and the Yeti car front and center. The calendar is rated for ages 3 and up and contains small parts.
Price and Where to Buy
Mattel’s Canadian shop prices the calendar at CA$39.99 (product code JLG41). Mattel does not list a US price on its own store, so expect the price to vary by retailer in the US. With 10 cars plus 24 days of surprises, it lands in the same range as most kids’ toy calendars this year.
Our Take
For young Hot Wheels fans, this is one of the easiest advent calendars to justify: 10 real cars that survive well past December, plus a Yeti car you cannot get anywhere else. The accessories are filler, but the ornament clips are a smart touch for a family tree. If you want a bigger build for an older kid, compare it with the LEGO advent calendars 2026, or check the LOL Surprise advent calendar 2026 for a doll-themed option.
