Walmart has announced its 2026 holiday calendar: three deal events between November 12 and December 2, and Walmart+ members get early access to the first two. On the hottest deal drops, members get a 24-hour head start before everyone else.
Walmart Black Friday 2026: The 3 Events
Walmart detailed the schedule in an October 26, 2026 announcement:
- Early Black Friday Deals, November 12 to 15: starts on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET on November 12 and in stores at 6 a.m. local time. Walmart+ members get early access to the hot Deal drops at 12:01 a.m. ET on November 12; any remaining hot Deal items open to everyone on November 13.
- Black Friday Deals, November 23 to 29: starts on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET on November 23 and in stores at 6 a.m. on Friday, November 27. Walmart+ early access to hot Deal drops starts November 23; remaining items open to everyone on November 24.
- Cyber Monday Deals, November 30 to December 2: online, from 12:01 a.m. ET on November 30.
What Walmart+ Gets You
During both Black Friday events, Walmart says select online-only deals are reserved for Walmart+ members for the first 24 hours. Remaining hot Deal drop items then open to all customers the next day, while supplies last. Walmart+ costs $98 a year or $12.95 a month, and Walmart also offers a Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus bundle at $120 a year for shoppers who want both memberships.
Toys, Gifts and the Muppets
Walmart is also pushing a Top Toys list with 25 toys under $25 and thousands of gifts under $20. Its holiday campaign brings back the Muppets in “A Who Knew Carol”, with Walton Goggins and Stephanie Beatriz. Chief merchandising officer Julie Barber said the three events are meant to give customers and members big deals at every stage of the season.
Our Take
The real value of Walmart+ this season is timing: one day ahead on the hottest online deals, twice. If you already plan to shop the November 12 and November 23 drops, a monthly Walmart+ plan for November costs less than most single deals save. If you only shop in stores, the membership adds nothing for Black Friday.
Best for: online shoppers chasing limited-stock toys and electronics. Skip it if: you buy in store on Black Friday morning.
