Best Buy has published its full 2026 holiday calendar. The main Black Friday sale starts Thursday, Nov. 19 and runs for 10 days, early Black Friday deals begin Friday, Nov. 6, and paying My Best Buy Plus and Total members earn double rewards from Nov. 19 to Dec. 6. The first deals, called DoorBOOsters, went live on Oct. 30.
Best Buy Black Friday 2026: The Full Calendar
Here are the dates Best Buy announced on October 27, 2026:
- DoorBOOsters: Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, the first Halloween deals of the season.
- Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters: from Friday, Nov. 6, with new deals every Friday.
- Black Friday Doorbusters and Deals: 10 days, from Thursday, Nov. 19 to Saturday, Nov. 28.
- Cyber Sunday and Monday: Nov. 29 and 30.
- Cyber Week: Dec. 1 to 6.
- Last-minute sale: Dec. 18 to 24.
Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, but deals stay live in the Best Buy app and on BestBuy.com. Extended store hours start Nov. 1.
Double Rewards for My Best Buy Plus and Total Members
This is the membership angle. From Nov. 19 to Dec. 6, My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members get 2% back in rewards on qualifying purchases, instead of the usual 1% that comes with those paid tiers. Members must be signed in to their My Best Buy account before they buy, and points post 2 to 3 weeks after the purchase, shipment or delivery.
Best Buy also says members get exclusive offers through the season, such as spend-and-get promotions and reward offers. Gift cards, tax, shipping and phones bought on AT&T or Verizon monthly installment plans do not count toward the double rewards.
Price Match and Returns
- Holiday Price Match Guarantee: if the price of a product sold by Best Buy drops during the holiday season, Best Buy matches it. Marketplace products are excluded.
- Extended returns: most purchases made Oct. 30 to Dec. 31 can be returned until Jan. 15, 2027, or Jan. 31, 2027 for Plus and Total members.
Our Take
The double rewards only matter on big tickets. On a $1,000 TV bought between Nov. 19 and Dec. 6, a Plus or Total member gets about $20 back in rewards instead of $10. That is a nice bonus if you already pay for the membership, not a reason to sign up just for Black Friday. The real perk for members is the longer return window: two extra weeks to change your mind on a holiday gift.
