Anthropologie’s beauty Advent calendar is one of the most talked-about retailer calendars in the US, and it launched early this year: The Hollywood Reporter and USA Today covered its arrival online on August 12-13, 2026, and NBC News called it “viral.” It is still in the spotlight: ABC’s Good Morning America featured it on October 16, 2026, at $98. It is sold “Only At Anthro,” and Anthropologie offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
The 2026 design is by Nephthys Foster, whose illustrations, according to Anthropologie, depict “a colorful wonderland full of vibrant joy.” Each product sits in its own illustrated box.

Our Take: Who It’s For (and Who Should Skip It)
Our math: $98 for 24 doors is about $4.08 a day, and the “$300+” stated value is roughly three times the price. The mix leans heavily on fragrance and hair: five perfume samples (Boy Smells, Juliette Has A Gun, Maeve, Tocca and PHLUR) plus the By Rosie Jane mist, and six hair products or accessories. Skincare is there but in small doses, with Sunday Riley’s Good Genes, Caudalie’s eye cream and Peter Thomas Roth’s serum as the standouts.
Best for: fragrance lovers and anyone who likes discovering niche brands they won’t find in a drugstore calendar. Skip it if you mainly want full-size skincare or makeup; most items are samples or travel sizes.
